Krystle Rizzi


Krystle is a planner with a wide range of interests and a background in transportation planning, public outreach, and GIS. She has strong written and oral communication skills, and a can-do work ethic. Krystle is currently working on long range planning out of the Santa Rosa office.

Prior to working at M-Group, Krystle worked as a GIS technician at Apple. In addition, she worked for over a year at the City of San Jose’s Department of Transportation as a Walk n’ Roll (Safe Routes to School) Specialist. She performed walk audits and field observations to improve the safety of walking route, worked with the community to increase program participation, tracked program data, and completed research on best practices.

Krystle received a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from San Jose State University. Her graduate thesis focused on the perceptions and reality of danger for students walking to school in San Jose and how Safe Routes to School can bridge the gap and increase active transportation for San Jose youth. Krystle received her Bachelor of Arts in Planning from Sonoma State University.

Outside of work, Krystle enjoys spending time with her family, long distance running, testing new Pinterest recipes, and re-learning to play the saxophone.
