Lori has worked as a professional planner for 20 years both in Northern California and Oregon. Her integrity and love of collaboration make her a valuable member of any staff.
Lori’s area of focus is development review. Most recently, she successfully managed various commercial and residential projects from inception, through various community meetings and to final approval while working with the City of Santa Rosa. She is highly skilled in the community involvement process thanks to her experience working at the City of Berkeley.
Lori is also adept in open space preservation, and effectively negotiated conservation easements to protect local and community resources through the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District. She helped create and draft the policies and diagrams for the long range open space plan known as Acquisition Plan 2000. In that capacity, she was a guest lecturer at Sonoma State University.
Lori has a Bachelor of Arts in History from Sonoma State University and a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from Portland State University. She has also studied Project Negotiation through UC Davis Extension.
Her hobbies include writing, twittering and frolicking in the hills of Sonoma County with her family.
