Scott has over four years of experience as a planner working within the public, private and non-profit settings. He is commited to not only completing projects, but also adding value to the community in which he is working. He currently provides reliable counter coverage, as well as assistance to fellow planners reviewing projects at the City of San Mateo. He also works with the City of Half Moon Bay, where he is instrumental in reviewing discretionary permits, reorganizing the Planning Department, creating procedure documentation, and creating informational handouts for the public.

Scott has provided professional planning services to various local agencies, including the Town of Tiburon, City of Reno and Alpine County. His experience includes updating and creating planning policy, environmental document creation, discretionary entitlement and building permit review, and creating greenhouse gas inventories. Scott has a passion for urban planning as a means for increasing the quality of life for the greater good.

He holds a B.S. in Geography and a M.S. in Land Use Planning and Policy with a Graduate Minor in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno. Scott also attended the University of the Basque Country, Guipuzkoa Campus while pursuing the degree in Geography.

On his free time, Scott enjoys spending time with family in an outdoor setting. He enjoys hiking, biking and cross country skiing.
