SHELDON AH SING, AICP
Sheldon employs over 13 years of experience in Southern and Northern California land use planning to tackle problems in an innovative and effective manner. He is a skilled project manager who shepherds high-profile projects through the entitlement process, while adhering to the high quality of life standards communities expect. His experience ranges from general plan, specific plan and zoning updates, to project management for large mixed-use/Transit Oriented Developments.
Sheldon deeply understands planning. He has effectively coordinated a multitude of public and private interests on large-scale, complex planning projects. He conceived and implemented creative planning solutions to physical, political, and regulatory challenges while working on the Milpitas Transit Area Specific Plan and the Pacific Mall of Silicon Valley. He is adept at balancing the big picture and the need for attention to detail, while meeting aggressive schedules.
Sheldon is a Certified Planner. He holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of California, Irvine and a Bachelor of Science in Regional Development from the University of Arizona. In his spare time he likes to run competitively, read non-fiction and watch British television shows.
