Jacqueline is an experienced current and long-range planner, with a portfolio spanning development review, preparing environmental review documents, and crafting residential and mixed-use Design Guidelines. She is also highly skilled in document design, graphic illustration, and GIS mapping. She is interested in blending creativity in design and smart planning principles, and is particularly fascinated with waterfront projects and public art planning.
Prior to joining M-Group, Jacqueline worked in the Planning & Development Division at the Port of San Francisco, where she successfully managed a Working Group of waterfront stakeholders in a two-year joint planning process with the Bay Conservation and Development Commission. She also assisted staff on many notable waterfront projects, managing interpretive signage programs and creating project graphics.
Jacqueline graduated with a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from San José State University. During her graduate career, she served as project manager on a grant-funded program in conjunction with the City of San Jose’s Environmental Services Department. Her thesis focused on San Francisco’s Embarcadero Promenade, analyzing the relationship between urban design and user behavior. She also holds a Certificate in Sustainable Development from Sonoma State University and a BS in Business Administration from CSU Los Angeles.
Outside of work, Jacqueline enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling to new places, exploring new music and food, experiencing the outdoors, and is an avid San Francisco Giants fan.
