Native Land Acknowledgement

M-Group acknowledges that our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Ohlone and Miwok communities among many other groups of native peoples including but not limited to Muwekma, Confederated Villages on Lisjan, Graton Rancheria, and Southern Pomo.

Despite the genocide that occurred during colonization, Indigenous Communities survive and are active in efforts to preserve and recover their culture and sacred sites. At M-Group we value the land we work on and the people we serve which starts with the First Nations. M-Group donates to Sogorea Te’ Land Trust.

We invite you to explore more in the Bay Area Equity Atlas and Native California Stories at Cal State East Bay Virtual Museum.
