ASHER TWU
PLANNing Technician
Asher is a Planning Technician with strong interests in urban design and transportation planning. With a background in architecture, he is especially passionate about connecting design, policy, and community engagement to create thoughtful, multidisciplinary approaches to urban development.
While working with the City of San Luis Obispo, Asher contributed to the Upper Monterey Street Focus Area Plan, where he helped develop strategies to preserve historic properties, incorporate public art, and enhance green space. His work reflects a commitment to inclusive, people-centered planning.
Asher holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is currently pursuing a Master of City and Regional Planning there as well. Outside of work, he enjoys crocheting, going on runs, exploring local restaurants, and hosting events that bring people together around shared interests and creativity.
