ASSISTANT PLANNER

Daniella Gonzalez-Arellano is an energetic planner who is excited to be involved in planning the future of the Bay Area. She is motivated by the opportunity to have an influence on the priorities and direction of local communities. Improving community design for walkability, sustainability, and access for all is a driving force for Daniella who is attentive to blending natural environments with built environments.

Prior to joining M-Group, Daniella interned with the City of Gilroy where she excelled in research, analysis, urban design, and geographic information systems. She is experienced with application review and serving the public with a high level of customer service. She has conducted several community engagement projects in which she researched, compiled data, and provided valuable analysis and policy recommendations.

Daniella earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies and Planning from San Francisco State University then followed that with a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from San Jose State University. While not at work she enjoys a good book, music, and dogs.
