AssISTANT Planner
Laylonni is an enthusiastic planning professional with a strong interest in environmental planning and a commitment to addressing climate change impacts. She began her career as a Planning Technician with Swale, Inc., where she gained valuable experience working on Municipal Service Reviews for special districts and cities in northern California. Her interest in environmental planning was piqued while studying at Cal Poly SLO, where she worked on an Environmental Constraints Analysis report for the San Simeon Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Laylonni has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Management & Protection from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and is driven by a desire to engage in planning projects that protect the natural environment while addressing climate change. She is continuously expanding her knowledge in the planning field and seeks out opportunities to challenge herself and grow as a planner. Outside of work, Laylonni enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors, learning how to surf, and hammocking with friends.
