Senior Planner
Mandy Kang is a highly organized, determined, and motivated planner with over 16 years in the profession. She has acquired in-depth knowledge of project management, environmental review, and current planning that only comes with hands-on experience. She has a passion for organization and time management that keep her projects on schedule. Her direct communication approach builds trusted professional relationships with both public and private stakeholders making her a valued planning consultant and effective problem solver.
Mandy has worked with several California public planning departments including the Cities of Dublin and Manteca, where she managed entitlement projects, prepared CEQA compliant environmental documentation, General Plans, developed policies and procedures, and managed external consultants. She has developed scopes and budgets, staff reports, and authored Request for Proposals.
Mandy earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration at the University of the Pacific and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture, with a minor in City and Regional Planning, at UC Berkeley. She loves to draw, paint, read, listen to music, and cherishes time with her young family.
