ASSOCIATE Planner

Shikha is an Architect and Urban Designer driven by a commitment to sustainable community development. With over eight years of professional experience across multiple geographies, including the USA, India, Singapore, Rwanda, and France, she brings a truly international perspective to the urban realm as she expands into the planning profession. 

Based in California, Shikha leverages this diverse background to excel in disciplined management, clear communication, and creative problem-solving. She thrives on facilitating sustainable growth by working directly with communities on hands-on projects. 

Her portfolio is highly diverse, spanning current planning, large-scale master and regional planning, architectural design, digital transformation, and the restructuring of internal government business processes for efficiency. Notable projects include reports and presentations for Measure 9212, a citizen-sponsored ballot initiative in the City of Menlo Park; master plans for Rusizi, a secondary city in Rwanda; and architectural design and construction drawings for a national archive building and a place of worship in Asia.  

Before joining M-Group, she gained significant experience at MIG Inc. in Berkeley, contributing to street design, community outreach, objective design standards, and specific/precise plan projects across California, Washington, and Texas.  

Shikha earned her Master’s in Architecture (Urban Design) and her Bachelor’s in Architecture (Architectural Design) in India and is pursuing the CEQA Practitioner’s Program at UC Davis.
